Born in an Elven city, he learned the art of archery. With a human father, he quickly learned the art of the sword. He was visiting his parents in Gandalf City when the Orcs attacked. He fought off the hordes after his parents were both murdered, until King Aragorn arrived to reinforce the front line.
Right as an arrow was about to hit the back of his neck, a Mirkwood arrow stopped that one. Captain Legolas mananged to fire a shot, before looking for another target.
