Silinde was a half-elven servant who lived in Rivendell during the Third Age. He was invited by Lord Elrond to attend the Council of Elrond, deciding the fate of the Ring of Power. He helped Elrond conclude that the Ring must be destroyed in the fires of Mount Doom. He later attended the coronation where Aragorn and Arwen became the King and Queen of Gondor. Silinde eventually went to the Undying Lands to the West of Middle-Earth with some of his people.
