Poppy Bolger, born Poppy Baggins, was a female Hobbit who was the daughter of Falco Baggins, and the wife of Filibert Bolger.

BiographyEdit

On September 12, TA 3001, Poppy and her husband attended Bilbo's Farewell Party. She was among those that attended Frodo's birthday and gave her father's chair as a gift.

Two years later, Poppy and her husband received word from Paladin Took II and Will Whitfoot, the Mayor of Michel Delving, about the growing evil that was beginning to spread. Considered herself to be a skilled fighter, Poppy and her husband joined the Hobbitry-in-arms with 2000 hobbits under the command of Paladin Took.

Upon arriving to Gondor, Poppy and the Hobbitry-in-arms charged forth against the weakened enemy when Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli led the Army of the Dead. After the Battle of Pelennor Fields was over, Poppy volunteered in gathering the wounded. Later, she went with the combined forces to the Black Gate and deal with the enemy once and for all. Poppy and Filibert survived the battle and were among those that attended the coronation of Aragorn.

During the beginning of the Fourth Age, Poppy and Filibert began to visit Minas Tirith once every summer and enjoy to wander near the Great River. She passed away on FO 42.
