Borgthaur was an Isengard Orc overseer that served under the wizard Saruman during the War of the Ring.
History[]
Borgthaur was a small Goblin in the service of Saruman, tasked with overseeing the breeding of the great soldier-orcs that would fight in the wizard's army.
As such, he was both a Taskmaster and Pitmaster, rivaled in authority only by the fat overseer Flizpot, who often mocked the gong for his size. Nonetheless, Borgthaur never failed his master and unlike his rival he did not dare lament about his work, no matter how hard it was. He feared however the fighting Uruk-hai that he had to check if they were fit for battle, for he heard rumors that they ate Orc-flesh.
He died during the Siege of Isengard.
