Golasgil was a Gondorian nobleman who served as the first Lord of Anfalas after his father's death.
Biography[]
In March of the year TA 3003, Golasgil was among the Ithilien Rangers that were present in the ruins of Osgiliath where he was passing arms out to other rangers as they prepare to defend the ruined city from the forces of Mordor. Golasgil fought for his life in the Second Battle of Osgiliath, and was able to survive after so many Orcs took over the ruined city.
Rather than returning to Minas Tirith, Golasgil returned to Anfalas and led a long line of 2800 non-combatants (hunters, herdsmen, and villagers) that were scantily equipped save for his own household. Golasgil and his small army marched to Minas Tirith before the armies of Mordor prepared to lay siege, and participated in the Battle of Pelennor Fields. Golasgil managed to survive the battle. He returned to Anfalas and ruled his land again.
