Eradan was a Ranger of Gondor, he wasn't a Captain, but he saw many of the great battles of our time, and survived them all.

Eradan was trained as an archer from a young age, he grew some talent in the bow when shooting apples off a stump of wood. He also tipped his arrow in fire during battles.

His days as a Ranger were natural, he worked with Faramir and Damrod, he wasn't a leader at all. He was a natural ranger. When not at work, he would sharpen his sword or eat, he preferred bacon and a slice of meat. He also encouraged his fellow rangers before a hopeless battle.
