Bavin II ruled the dwarves in Moria during the Fourth Age. He was grandson of Gimli and the great-grandson of Glóin, a member of Thórin & Company. Bavin II rebuilt great portions of Moria and had Balin and Dwalin buried togeather outside next to Mirrormere. He was kind, generous, noble, valiant, and beloved by the people he ruled. He was friends to the Elves of Mirkwood the Eagles and Beornings. He died in FO 326 and was mourned by most of Northern Middle-earth.
