Physical description
Adelard Took was the son of Flambard Took. Married to an unnamed woman, he had two sons, named Reginard and Everard.
Biography[]
Abelard visited Bag End frequently and was renowned for having tendency to take umbrellas that didn't belonged to him, including some that belonged to Bilbo and other Hobbits. Following Bilbo's Farewell Birthday Party in 3001 3A, Bilbo left Adelard an umbrella for him.
War of the Ring[]
When Sauron was preparing to gather his forces to strike against the free people of Middle-earth, Abelard joined the Shire Company at Will Whitfoot's request and traveled a long journey to the south. Arriving to Gondor, Adelard participated in the Battle of Pelennor Fields where he slew several orcs that were retreating from the battlefield. He volunteered in gathering the wounded after the battle. He later fought in the Battle of Morannon against Sauron's forces and survived.
Fourth Age[]
Returning to the Shire, Adelard married an unnamed woman and had two sons Reginard (5 4A) and Everard (9 4A). He passed away in 72 4A.
